Map Anatomy series: Aqualung is created by cutting and assembling an atlas. The land is then reconstructed using archipelagos to mimic the intricate network of the Bronchial system. The use of the Bronchial tree in Aqualung is important as it is a perfect example of branching, or ‘the tree of life’: A code or map that is used to show the evolutionary process of our world.
